Fair Play Barnet – A collaboration between Jill Pryor Design, Create Visual Aids, London Borough of Barnet and The Seneca Trust
During late 2023 and early 2024, Gina Smith, founder of Create Visual Aids, and I have been collaborating with Barnet London Borough and The Seneca Trust, to design this unique visual aids communication board for the new, maximum accessibility playground, Fair Play Barnet, which officially opened its gates in February 2024.
Fair Play Barnet has been designed with input from professional experts, parents and carers with a range of experience in different disabilities.
With maximum accessibility and inclusivity, it is a place where ALL abilities and ages can play together – and to make sure everyone can communicate together easily, the visual aids boards are placed in several locations across the park, in-between all the awesome playground equipment that rocks, swings, spins, involves sound, climbing and slides, touch and sitting…✨
